Ponce Inlet Fishing Report: Dec 25th – Jan 1st

The sheepshead fishing in the ICW is better than I’ve  seen in years. Not only are they plentiful but they are studs. Fishing arond the docks will yield the best results using fiddler crabs and 1/0 hook. If you decide to fish the docks please be respectful of other peoples property and do not tie your boat off. Use an anchor or trolling motor to hold you in position. Book your offshore or nearshore fishing trip with Searok Charters!

Ponce Inlet Fishing Report Dec 18th – 25th

Ponce Inlet Fishing Report Dec 18th to the 25th Landed a couple wahoo this week north of Ponce Inlet. High speed trolling in depths from 120 to 240 will yield the best results. North of the rolldown has been good all the way to the breaks. Orange and black skirts got bit the most between 13kts to 15kts. Make sure to stagger your spread with plenty of space in between them.   Book your offshore or deep sea fishing trip with Searok Charters!

Fishing Report Ponce Inlet Dec 11th – 18th

With the cold snap hitting this weekend we can expect the Sheepshead to be heading into the river. For best results try fishing the docks on the outgoing tide using fiddler crabs and lightest leader you can get away with. The average catch ratio of Sheepshead is one out of five bites. If you’d like to hone your hook setting skills this is the fish to do it with.   Book your offshore or deep sea fishing trip with Searok Charters!
