This time of year is wahoo. We use high speed trolling lures with heavy trolling weights and 200# shock cord. Capable of speeds up to 60 mph, wahoo have little trouble attacking lures trolled at 15 knots. Additionally, fast trolling speeds allow anglers to cover large areas of water.
