Tomoka Inshore Fishing Report: March 18th-25th

Tomoka has always been somewhat challenging to fish but we managed to boat a couple slot red fish in these windy conditions. Focused on the shoreline protected from the wind we were successful on live bait and watermelon swim baits. Also managed to boat a couple jacks and a handful of mangrove snapper. Ponce Inlet Fishing Report for March 18th-25th

The long awaited Cobia run is officially here. Water temperature still in the mid 60’s it’s still colder than they like. Water temp being warmer closer to the surface than the bottom I would target the water column with live bait and cobia jigs. Offshore sites are getting better and better as we approach the warmer weather. Trolling is still solid for king mackerel and bonito. Ponce Inlet Fishing Report March 10th-17th

Water temperature at the 100 foot was 74ยบ. The bottom fishing bite was hot. The red snapper were not picky on the bait. They swallowed anything from cut bait to live pin fish. Red eyes were also biting on the bottom with squid and chicken rig. Trolling was slow, a few king mackerel mixed in with some Spanish, Lots of sharks, if you’re into fighting big sand bar sharks you will not be disappointed.

Ponce Inlet Offshore Fishing Report: March 3rd – 10th

The king fishing is still strong offshore and even close to shore. The nasty winds and cold snap mother nature threw at us hasn’t deterred the kings from biting. Try pulling spoons closer to the surface with some wire rigged ballyhoo on the sides. If you hit a warm pocket of water you may even get a dolphin bite. Capt.
