There’s not a better way to see Florida’s natural treasure it has to offer than by airboat. A lot of the wildlife seek shelter in the marshes and swamps where regular boats and 4wd vehicles cannot pass. However, the airboat can run on lakes, swamps, marshes and even dry ground. Take a tour and see how Florida looked before a single home was built. Capt. Nick To book a trip, please call: 386-624-1469

Tomoka Basin Fishing Report for July 24th-27th
Fishing continues to be consistent in the Tomoka river basin. Jumping juvenile tarpon and the snook bite is on fire. Fishing near or on top of oyster beds using live shrimp will yield the best results for snook. Soaking shrimp on the bottom will pull up some red fish and flounder. If you’re using spin or soft baits pick bright colors since the water is very murky.

The heat of the summer keeps fishing in the shadows, lots of snook to be had near the oyster beds. Tarpon are active in the basin, soon as the wind pics you gotta move south. Live shrimp and mullet seem to produce the best results. Nice to be back…. Capt. Nick

Green Turtle Cay – Hurricane Dorian Relief
Our mission to deliver much needed supplies to Green Turtle Cay was a complete success. 12 hrs, 400 miles with calm seas in both directions. We were the very first boat from the states to make landfall after the storm on GTC. We were greeted with teary eyes and big smiles. The Abacos is in desperate need of aid and we will continue to deliver supplies and help until it is restored. Capt. Nick Searok Charters

Bimini Offshore Fishing Report
Fishing in unfamiliar territory is always challenging but the rewards are better because you’re not expecting much. We took a family trip to Bimini and did a little offshore fishing. Leaving the safe harbor of south Bimini you didn’t have to travel far to find good fishing grounds. You can literally swim to shore that’s how close we were fishing in 400-600 feet of water. Bottom fishing you can expect tons of trigger fish, yellow eye snapper and strawberry grouper. Trolling north you can expect to catch black fin tuna, skip jacks and Mahi. Fishing in the Bahama banks never

Ponce Inlet Offshore Fishing Report
Just because red snapper is out of harvest season doesn’t mean you can’t catch them. They are great fighters, great for pictures and when vented correctly they have a high percent recovery rate. We have caught these guys anywhere from 3 miles from shore all the way to over 200′ of water. We’ve caught them on just about any lure or bait. We’ve even caught them on a fly rod. Now if we would just have a longer season than 5 days would be even better.

Ponce Inlet Offshore Fishing Report
Great weekend of fishing out of Ponce. The water clarity and temperature are ideal for both bottom fishing as well as trolling. King mackerel and bonitas are plenty at almost any depth. However if you want dinner there’s nothing better than bottom fishing. We have been doing great on trigger fish, red eye snapper, mangrove snapper and groupers. The deeper you are the better you’ll do, just have enough weight on your sinkers to hold bottom. Capt. Nick

Ponce Inlet Offshore Fishing Report by Capt. Nick
Ponce Inlet fishing has been excellent this season. We’ve had a large variety of species biting on the bottom. We caught record size trigger fish, mangrove snapper, red eyes and of course red snapper. Trolling has been a hit and miss but when they do bite its non stop. Mahi are still around and king mackerel have been consistent. Throw in a barracuda and bonita to the mix and your day has become full bending rods. Capt. Nick

Ponce Inlet & New Smyrna Beach Offshore Fishing Report by Capt. Nick
With the red snapper season being over we can finally have some fishing room on the Atlantic. Red snapper season however short is always a success. We only get 5 days in our area, every single boat that went out limited out in a matter of minutes. They are excellent fighting fish, will pretty much bite anything you give them, in the top 5 for edibility and look great in pictures. I feel they are overpopulated and they need to give us a longer season. Maybe next year. Capt. Nick
