You will get to experience the unparalleled fishability, comfort, range, and speed of a 36′ Contender.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced angler, you are starting out with an unfair advantage of a Contender fishing boat. This boat is built for fishermen by fisherman.

A half day trip only costs $800.00. This includes all the tackle, bait, and a mate. For another $400 we can spend all day offshore chasing Dolphin, (Mahi, Dorado) Wahoo, Sailfish, Cobia, Snapper grouper and various other game fish.

6 Hour Trip – Up to 6 people -$800

Our 6 hour fishing charters is an introduction to the art of offshore sport fishing. Depending on sea conditions these trips are divided into 2 categories, trolling and bottom fishing. We will go out about 15 to 20 miles from the inlet. You will be introduced to bait fishing to begin the day. We will stop at a couple of spots to catch live bait for grouper, snapper, cobia, kingfish, amber jacks.

Once we have our bait fish we will motor to our bottom fishing spot. Here you will be given instruction on how to operate a conventional fishing reel. Our mate will teach you how to correctly wait for the bite, since we use circle hooks it is a completely different way of fishing compared to J hooks.

We will also have double rigs set up for smaller species like red eye snapper, trigger fish, lane snapper, etc.

Once we’ve exhausted our bottom fishing time we will start trolling. Running planers and top water lures we can expect to catch kingfish, amber jacks, barracudas, sharks, cobia, sailfish, and sometimes even a wahoo or mahi.

8 Hour Trip – Up to 6 people – $950

Our 8 hour is similar to our 6 hour expect it gives us more time to run into deeper water which generally yields bigger and better fish. You can expect to go out 25 to 30 miles.

On this trip we decide the style of fishing according to the sea conditions. Since we are in deeper water the seas tend to get a little more sporty. If it’s a calm day we can do a little bottom fishing in the deep, which we call deep dropping. This generally yields much bigger fish, much better and longer fights. Once you’ve had your fill of bottom dropping we can then go to trolling, the targeted species are mahi, wahoo, sailfish.

Once we’ve exhausted our bottom fishing time we will start trolling. Running planers and top water lures we can expect to catch kingfish, amber jacks, barracudas, sharks, cobia, sailfish, and sometimes even a wahoo or mahi.

10 Hour Trip – Up to 6 people – $1200

These charters are geared toward more experienced anglers. We will spend the day trolling for big game fish heading east 30 to 50 miles offshore. You can expect to catch sailfish, marlin, mahi, wahoo. We will be in 150 to 450 feet of water. We troll 2 planers, 2 flat lines, 2 outrigger baits and one shotgun down the center for maximum opportunity.
