bass fishing lake crescent charters
Fishing has been difficult due to Irma flooding has lead to relatively high water levels. Getting access to the lake may be tricky with some boat ramps closed or inaccessible. Waters at the start of this month will be murky and very tannin-stained due to runoff.  Numerous deadfalls scattered on the shore will hold bass, with patches of vegetation also holding other species of fish. The deeper edges of the north cut and grass patches along the west shore of the lake will hold crappie and tons of small gators. Anglers should have good luck drifting or trolling minnows or crappie jigs, particularly in the southern end of the lake.
Gator hunting is non existent, with water levels being so high they have too many areas to hide. Gators season ends Nov 1st. Going to try to get out quota even with difficult conditions.
