New Smyrna and Daytona Beach Offshore Fishing Report

With the water temperature still in the mod 60’s fishing inside 20 mile is tough. Not much action on the troll. Only bite we were able to get was a couple kingfish. Bottom fishing however is still consistent. Due to the water still being cold the fish are lazy, you have to drop the bait right in from for them to get bit. Bluefish are everywhere however. Tomoka River Fishing Report by Capt. Nick

The clarity in the Tomoka river is finally clearing up to where the fish can see the bait. Working the outgoing tide fish the drop offs with live shrimp or gold spoons for the reaction bite. Redfish and trout are moving in. Have not had much luck in the flats, I would concentrate on the basin area north of the park.
